The University Honors Program (UHP) invites you to join the network of alumni and friends who support distinctive curricular and extracurricular offerings by the UHP, including enhanced opportunities for honors students' research, academic travel, and cultural enrichment.
Please take the time to review our list of priorities below:
Honors Program Gifts
The Honors Program Gifts fund enables the UHP director to address significant opportunities for program development and areas of immediate need
Donations to this fund contribute to providing extracurricular activities, cultural enrichment, prominent internship opportunities, timely course offerings and special topic seminars to honors program students.
Examples of these contributions include renting the ice skating rink, climbing wall, and swimming pool for honors events, providing scholarships for first-year students to go on the bonding raft trip, funding leadership retreats and ice cream socials, and providing snacks for fireside chats.
Give to now.
Henberg Honors Endowment
The Henberg Honors Endowment supports a range of possibilities for students, including academic travel in this country and abroad, support for students to pursue timely and challenging research projects or a course of directed study, and also the means to enhance cultural enrichment activities that students help to organize.
Examples of these contributions include sending students to Spokane to see the Phantom of the Opera and the Lion King, funding a field trip to follow the path of the Great Missoula Flood across the scablands of Washington and contributing to students’ undergraduate research projects.
Give to now.
Honors Program Scholarship Endowment
The Honors Program Scholarship Endowment provides scholarship support that helps offset tuition costs for select honors students.
These scholarship awards are based on merit and financial need. This includes consideration of academic potential and achievement, leadership, involvement and/or community service.
