Honors Living

Students in the University Honors Program (UHP) have the option to join a supportive, close-knit campus living community specifically for honors students.

First-year students may choose to live in McCoy Hall. Upperclassmen may choose to live in Scholars LLC.

These vibrant communities provide a stimulating intellectual and social environment, where residents share a variety of academic, social and cultural opportunities.

Honors housing provides students with the advantage of meeting and living with other students who maintain high academic standards and are also interested in being involved with extra-curricular activities and campus life.

Honors students are not required to live in McCoy Hall or Scholars LLC to be a part of the UHP. Students may choose other non-Honors housing options including living in a Fraternity or Sorority.

“You won’t always live in the same building as your friends. Take advantage of it.”

“One of the biggest advantages of the Honors Program is being able to live in the same residence hall as other Honors students... Living with fellow high-achieving students will push you to work harder and reach higher, but you'll also have a great group of friends to support you and do fun activities with!”
