Mood Boards - Friday, 8:45 a.m.-noon
As a creative tool, designers including architects, graphic designers, apparel designers and filmmakers produce mood boards to explore a particular theme, look and feel before proceeding with subsequent designs. In this workshop, aspiring designers will produce a collage of images, color, textures and found objects to explore visual concepts and story ideas that will provide direction for projects in subsequent workshops.

Architecture is the meeting of the inside and the outside, as well as the interface between the built environment and nature. This workshop explores this ‘in-between realm’ ranging from the scale of a city to a simple wall. Then you will conceptualize and create your own dynamic building plan from modern art.

Urban Design - Saturday, 9 a.m. - noon
