Winter 2017 Alumni and Friends Newsletter

Dear Friends,

After a successful week of critique and reviews before the winter break, faculty and students alike are enjoying that collective sigh of relief that comes at the end of each semester of hard work. All of us are looking forward to a new year!

This fall we welcomed Academic Advisor Karen Krier. Karen joins us with excellent experience in student services having worked with the International Programs Office, and the Coeur de Alene Tribe as an adviser and counselor. Karen advises all college freshmen, first semester sophomores, and newly admitted students.

We also redesigned our enrollment materials from top to bottom to better reflect our identity and the power of our collective disciplines. Materials will continue to evolve as we adopt a refreshed U of I brand in the new year!

In this newsletter, we celebrate award-winning excellence and outstanding leadership in every realm, from student achievements to faculty research and industry success. I hope you enjoy this snapshot of activity and will share your news with us as well. On behalf of the College of Art and Architecture, happy holidays and best wishes for 2018!

Warm regards,

Dr. Shauna Corry
Interim Dean
