Undergraduate Awards

Individuals or teams are eligible for all categories. Award money will be divided among team members.

Undergraduate Presentations

Students and teams will present their research through a presentation (up to 18 minutes in length) to a panel of judges. Technology will be available for display purposes, if required.

Award Categories for Presentations 

  • Interdisciplinary Research Award: The Interdisciplinary Research Award will recognize outstanding completed or on-going research conducted as part of a degree program at the University of Idaho which integrates concepts or ideas across distinctly different disciplines.

  • Disciplinary Research Award: The Disciplinary Research Award will recognize outstanding completed or on-going research in a distinct discipline conducted as part of a degree program at the University of Idaho.

  • Undergraduate Artistic and Creative Activities: The Artistic and Creative Activity Award will recognize outstanding visual, performing, or creative arts which are either on-going or completed as part of a degree program at the University of Idaho. It will be important to note how the work was developed or designed, to provide a description of methods employed in creating the work, and should state the inspiration for the artistic or creative work and its importance.
