Women's BASE CAMP is a unique program combining leadership development, service, and outdoor recreation. The purpose is to enhance U of I women students’ confidence and build a network of support. This weekend trip allows participants to explore modern dimensions of leadership, provide service to a regional community partner, and play in the beautiful Inland Northwest. BASE CAMP is a partnership between Department of Student Involvement and Outdoor Programs.
Who: Undergraduate women; only nine slots available
Registration Day: Tues. Jan. 22, 2019 at 7:30 a.m. in the Department of Student Involvement's Center for Volunteerism and Social Action (Idaho Commons 301).
Registration is in-person. First come, first register. We will serve coffee and bagels. Registration will remain open until all nine slots are filled.
Trip dates: Feb. 8-10, 2019
Location: Fields Spring State Park, Washington
Adventure: Cross country skiing or hiking (dependent on weather)
Cost: $0
Mandatory pre-trip meetings: Thurs, Jan. 31st 5-7 pm & Feb. 7, 6-8 pm in the SRC classroom.
