    A dynamic celebration of Women’s Equality Day with an outdoor feminist fair featuring free snacks, lots of feminist swag and great prizes.
  • Take Back the Night – Sept. 20, 2018
    Rally and march to take a visible and active stand to break the silence and reclaim the night in protest of all forms of violence and assault.
  • F-Word Live Poetry Slam – Nov. 2, 2018
    Join us for a poetry slam exploring “the other F-word,” namely Feminism. This event is open to poets of all levels and experience.
  • LunaFest Women's Film Festival – March 5, 2019
    A national film festival that showcases original short films by, for and about women.
  • The Bandana Project – March 26, 2019
    raises awareness of workplace violence experienced by farmworker women in the fields.
  • Virginia Wolf Distinguished Service Awards – March 28, 2019
    Each year, members of the campus and local community are recognized for their continuous dedication to activism for gender justice.
  • SAAM Slam – April 2, 2019
    The U of I Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) poetry slam is an event that highlights voices in the Vandal Community to raise awareness of sexual violence. This event is open to poets of all levels and experience.
