Practice Settings for Graduates of the Program
Graduates of University of Idaho’s Rehabilitation Counseling and Human Services M.Ed. program may find employment in public rehabilitation counseling agencies such as the Idaho Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Idaho Industrial Commission, the Idaho Commission of Blind and Visually Impaired, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, and disability service programs within higher education. Private sector programs that may employ our graduates include community rehabilitation programs, worker’s compensation and insurance companies, traumatic brain injury programs, rehabilitation hospitals, substance abuse programs, community mental health agencies and community-based correction programs.
