The Grand Challenge Scholars program has enabled Gabryel to work with Professor Martin to publish and present a scientific paper on the cerebrospinal fluid system. An iteration of Gabryel’s work titled, Neurochi Virtual Reality Simulator of the Cerebrospinal Fluid System, recently earned him one of seven prestigious awards at the 2017 Idaho INBRE (IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence) Summer Research Conference award. Natividad is also a member of Martin’s team working to develop an entrepreneurial teaching and research tool, the world’s first virtual reality platform with high-resolution representation of the complete cerebrospinal fluid system.
