  • 4-7 p.m. Wine and Cheese Gala hosted by the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences

    Join the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences for their annual Mom's Wine and Cheese Gala. Guests will taste their way across the Palouse as local winery representatives provide tastings. Appetizers will also be provided. All proceeds go towards supporting student clubs. .

    Location: Pitman Center International Ballroom
    Cost: $30 per person | $35 per person
    Tickets cover dinner and show, for U of I students and visiting family members; tickets also reserve you a space for Paint and Plant with your “Mums” if you choose to stay for the second event.

    Student Alumni Relations Board partners with Vandal Entertainment to bring Vandal Families dinner and entertainment featuring stand-up comic, Harper-Rose Drummond! Harper-Rose Drummond is a self-described nervous person who offers a clean yet edgy act that explores themes of rejection, chronic illness, sexism and dating. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA performing stand up all across the country. Harper-Rose has been seen on the tv show Laugh Tracks on TruTv, written for the Huffington Post, performed at the Hollywood Palladium and travels the country performing in festivals, clubs and alt venues. Drummond currently runs her own show in LA called “The Last Voicemail” featuring headlining & up and coming comics sharing their most hilarious voicemail.

    Location: St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

    Do you love public lands and want to support a cause while you’re in town for Mom’s Weekend? Join Friends of the Clearwater for “Wine and Wilderness.” The evening will feature a wine tasting, a three-course meal and a wine silent auction. All featured wines are limited production and almost exclusively available directly from small, family-owned California wineries. All proceeds support public lands protection of North Central Idaho’s Clearwater Basin. Reservations are required and may be made by contacting email or by calling 111-882-9755.

    Join us on Mom's Weekend to plant your own herbs in reused glass jars, decorate them with repurposed materials, and meet the Environmental Science Club members! Herb set includes: Glass jar, herb of your choice, soil, jar decorations (While supplies last)
