Donor Support Allows Student to Learn About Cultures
After working six years to save up enough money to enroll at the University of Idaho, financial support from donors gave Sam Raymond the extra push he needed to pursue his passion for learning about cultures.
“Receiving scholarships and grants has aided in freeing up my time, so that I can devote more of it to reading, writing and learning,” Raymond said.
He found a passion for studying cultures in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and found mentors in the department’s faculty. But it was donors who ultimately made his education possible.
“I would not have been able to get through my undergraduate studies if it weren’t for the financial support that donors like you generously give,” he explained.
