MOSCOW, Idaho — June 2, 2017 — In the last 10 days, President Donald Trump has announced he will withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate agreement and introduced a presidential budget filled with reductions in funds for environmental agencies.
, the chair of the University of Idaho’s in the College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences, is an expert in environmental politics, public administration and policy.

Prior to arriving at Idaho in 2013, Ellison served as the chair of Department of Government and Justice Studies at Appalachian State University, director of the Master of Public Administration programs at Missouri State University and the College of Charleston/University of South Carolina, has taught as a Fulbright Senior Scholar or visiting professor in Bulgaria, Russia and China, and spent two years working for the Open Society Institute in Armenia.
