EXPERTS AVAILABLE: Fire and Our Communities

August 11, 2016

Wildfire is a reality in the West, one that researchers at the University of Idaho are studying intensely. UI researchers across disciplines are doing ground-breaking work studying how to make communities more “fire-resilient,” and provide solutions that will help people and fire co-exist.

With the first certified wildfire ecology program in the nation and the only university lab dedicated to the study of combustion and smoke emissions, UI is internationally renowned for fire science.
