Athena Conversation of Care: Mothering and Working in Higher Ed

April 16, 2018

A professional development opportunity for working moms will be led by Mélanie-Angela Neuilly, associate professor in the Washington State University Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. Join the Athena Professional Women's Organization at noon Wednesday, April 18, in the Panorama Room, Idaho Commons, for our last Conversation of Care of the year!  Neuilly will share her thoughts on how to successfully navigate the landscape of higher education while also mothering children. What are the demands placed on university employees that compromise our family life, and how do we reconcile our roles as professionals and mothers? Join us to explore these questions and more! Bring your lunch and a friend! All current and prospective Athena members are welcome.
