SEM Continues to Expand Enrollment Efforts
July 06, 2018
Over the past year, the University of Idaho has rolled out many new initiatives to assist us with meeting our strategic plan goals for enrollment and retention.
We are grateful to all the employees across the university who have enthusiastically jumped on board with our recruitment goals and initiatives. However, as we've expanded our efforts, we have found we still have some unmet needs.
This spring, we began a request for proposal process to identify a customer relationship management (CRM) tool that better meets the needs of our campus and increases access to all who play a vital role in supporting students/families on their journey to joining U of I. This tool is a crucial component of student recruitment and allows us to track engagement, contact history and the task of how we help prospective students enroll at the university.
Over the past few weeks, members of the project team have met with key personnel in each college to gather information about their needs from an enrollment management CRM tool. Later this summer, we will host open forums and demos as we bring prospective vendors to campus. Rolling out new CRM software is a long process, and we hope to have the system in place in time to recruit the incoming class of 2020-21. We will keep you posted on our progress and the opportunity to provide feedback as the process moves along.
You can learn more about this process on the project website https://divinedestinations.info/sem/sem-crm-rfp Thank you to all who have provided feedback so far on this important process.
