U of I’s Finals Fest 2018 Welcomes Hip-Hop Artist 6LACK

Two-time Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist 6LACK (pronounced black) will headline the University of Idaho’s on Saturday, April 28, in Moscow.
6LACK is an Atlanta-based singer-songwriter whose style is described as “moody hip-hop.” He is best known for his 2016 platinum single “Prblms,” which was nominated at the 2018 Grammy awards for Best Rap/Sung Performance. 6LACK’s debut album “Free 6LACK” was also nominated for a Grammy in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category. His other hit songs include “Ex Calling” and a single released on Valentine’s Day called “Cutting Ties.”
Northwest hip-hop artist Yodi Mac will be the opening act. Doors open at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 28, with a house DJ beginning a short time later, on the U of I SprinTurf field located east of the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center. Food vendors will be on site.
The Finals Fest concert will be held rain or shine. Admission is free for U of I students with a VandalCard. General admission is $25. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Kibbie Dome or online at .
