ITS provides Emeritus and Honored retirees with ongoing email accounts and services during retirement.
During the transition to retirement ITS will provide assistance setting up @gold accounts to meet the needs of our honored and emeritus retirees. These accounts have the @gold.divinedestinations.info suffixes to provide a distinctive address.
Honored and Emeritus retires have the following options upon retirement.
- Retirees can request that all UI accounts be closed and no @gold account be setup for them.
- Honored and Emeritus retirees can request an @gold account be setup for them.
- Emeritus faculty have the option of keeping their current NetID accounts open. This will require the account be sponsored so it does not expire during the retirement transition.
Current staff NetID accounts will be closed after retirement (unless Emeritus faculty choose to keep theirs), so work with ITS in cases where these addresses need to be forwarded.
If you're already an honored or emeritus retiree and you do not have an @gold account, please contact the ITS Help Desk and we will assist you in setting up the account.
For anyone starting the retirement process, Human Resources will provide you with a form that will allow us to setup the account prior to your transition.
To access your at gold account open a web browser window and enter in the address bar. You will then log in with the full email address (i.e. [email protected]) and your password.
To set your @gold password please go to and log in with your security profile. Once logged in you will see a link on the left-hand side of the screen marked, 'Office 365 Password,' click it and set a new password.
If you need any assistance with your @gold account contact the ITS Help Desk through email at [email protected] or call us at 111-111-HELP (4357). The ITS Help Desk is available during normal business hours, located in the TLC room 128.
Emeritus and Honored Retirees will be provided software when university licencing allows for it.
