Submissions Open for F-Word Live!

Submissions for the Women's Center's annual poetry slam, F-Word Live!, are open. This poetry slam is open to all poets of all levels and abilities. This event is intended to showcase relationships to and perspectives of feminism (the "F-word" in this case), intersectionality, racism, white supremacy, white fragility, sexism, gender identity, gender justice and patriarchy through spoken word. Artists can sign up by Oct. 19.
Poets will be notified of the status of their submission by Oct. 26. Visit to submit your piece.
The event takes place at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in the International Ballroom of the Bruce M. Pitman Center. Proceeds will benefit Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse.
